Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of NexyPlay, including the NexyPlay apps and website (collectively, the “Service”). By installing, accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What NexyPlay is

NexyPlay is an IPTV player that turns your existing IPTV playlists into a modern streaming-style experience. In particular, NexyPlay provides:

  • A player UI for live TV, movies and series based on your own playlists.
  • A free TV guide (EPG) for multiple countries where supported.
  • Now & Next program information and clear program details.
  • A home screen organized into genre rows and weekly top lists.
  • Cinematic artwork and title details (via TMDb and other sources).
  • Personalised discovery using your favorites and watch history.
  • A kids area with a friendlier browsing experience and maturity guidance.
  • Features for power users, including:
    • Support for multiple playlists from different providers.
    • Advanced search across live TV, movies and series.
    • Fast and responsive interface, even with large catalogs.

NexyPlay does not provide content. You must connect your own legally obtained IPTV playlists or provider credentials.

2. What NexyPlay is not (content disclaimer)

It is important to understand what NexyPlay does not do:

  • NexyPlay is an IPTV player only. It does not provide, host or include any TV channels, movies, shows or playlists.
  • NexyPlay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party IPTV providers, channels, studios or rightsholders.
  • You are solely responsible for:
    • Adding your own IPTV playlists or provider credentials.
    • Ensuring you have the legal right to access and stream any content you use with the app.
    • Complying with the laws of your country or region.

3. Eligibility and basic requirements

  • You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
  • You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, including copyright, broadcast and IPTV regulations in your country.
  • You are responsible for the internet connection, device, IPTV provider and any associated costs.

4. License to use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Install and use the NexyPlay app on devices you own or control.
  • Use NexyPlay solely as a player for your own IPTV playlists and legally obtained content.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease or sublicense the app, except as permitted by law.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where allowed by mandatory law.
  • Use NexyPlay to violate the rights of others or any applicable laws.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use NexyPlay to:

  • Access or stream content for which you do not have a valid license or legal right.
  • Engage in piracy, unauthorized redistribution, or any other unlawful activity.
  • Bypass digital rights management (DRM) or technical protection measures.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers or networks.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, subscription checks or other access controls.

6. Subscriptions, free trial and billing

NexyPlay offers a Premium tier with additional features and a 7-day free trial (where available). Subscription billing is handled by the app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.) and/or in-app purchase partners.

  • Pricing, currency and tax handling are determined by the app store in your region.
  • At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current price unless you cancel before the trial ends (subject to store rules).
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your store account settings (Apple ID, Google account, etc.).
  • We do not control store billing cycles, refund policies or payment methods; those are governed by the app store’s own terms and policies.

7. Data, privacy and cloud sync

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. In summary:

  • Your playlists, favorites, history and settings are stored on your device and optionally via cloud sync.
  • We may use platform analytics and crash reporting to improve app stability.
  • We do not operate a content streaming backend or a centralized log of everything you watch.

8. Intellectual property

NexyPlay, including its app code, design, branding and related assets, is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

  • You retain ownership of your own data (e.g. playlists, favorites) and remain responsible for any rights needed to use that data.
  • All third-party content (e.g. TV channels, movies, logos, artwork) remains the property of its respective copyright holders.
  • You may not use our name, logo or branding in a way that implies endorsement without our prior written permission.

9. Third-party services, credits & legal notices

NexyPlay integrates with third-party services and uses external artwork or icon packs. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • TMDb: NexyPlay uses the TMDb API for title information and artwork, but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
  • Title information, artwork and metadata may be provided by TMDb and displayed for the content available in your playlists.
  • Some artwork and graphical resources are provided by Freepik and Flaticon.
  • Movie and TV titles, channel names, logos, artwork and other media shown in the app and in screenshots remain the property of their respective copyright holders.
  • NexyPlay does not claim ownership of any third-party content and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any content providers, channels, studios or rightsholders whose content may appear when you use your own playlists.
  • All other trademarks and copyrights are the property of their respective owners.

10. Service changes, availability and updates

We are continuously improving NexyPlay and may modify or discontinue features from time to time.

  • We may release updates that are required for security, performance and compatibility.
  • We may add, change or remove features (including free TV guide support, metadata sources or device support) at our discretion.
  • We do not guarantee that NexyPlay will be available on all devices, OS versions or regions at all times.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
  • Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible with every device.
  • Any warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy or availability of third-party content, EPG data or metadata.

You use NexyPlay at your own risk and are solely responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws and third-party terms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexyPlay and its developers, affiliates and licensors shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service or any third-party content or services.
  • Any claims related to the content of your playlists or the legality of streams accessed through your providers.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the last twelve (12) months (if any), to the extent allowed by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NexyPlay and its developers, affiliates and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Your use of IPTV playlists or content without proper authorization or license.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms will apply to the maximum extent permitted by the laws of your country or region. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. In some cases, we may provide additional notice in the app or on our website.

By continuing to use NexyPlay after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
